Harry is my most favourite boy in the whole world and he says to me all the time
"You know what " ...... and I am like "what?"
He then sprouts some wisdom that blows me away time and time again from his 7 year old mind of profound knowledge.
I hang out with all the kids in my life and am fascinated with how we parent, becoming a parent, what these children are bringing us and also the dance we play with our children.
It is kind of a societal obsession at the moment huh ......
When I walk away from my time with Harry I think - you know what - I know NOTHING
I love it - I love more than anything the time I spend knowing nothing and allowing myself to share in the joy of everyone around me telling me what they know to be true. I think as we investigate and express ourselves we discover ourselves. Saying what we know is a great way to see what we think. We understand what is real for us. Without it being wrong or right it is just what it is. It is one of the simplest ways we as human beings evolve and see ourselves. It is what children do so easily and we forget this monitoring ourselves and managing what we say and think and feel as we grow up.
I reckon hang out and say what ya know - stumble - see what you think - allow it - express it - be with it all
It makes me smile as we find the delight in who we are. It is also a cool context to live within for me . As someone who has lived thinking she knew a hell of a lot to now experience knowing nothing - phew - it is a relief
